From 2 to 5 June 2009 the participants of the International Competition Network held for the 8th time their annual conference. After Moscow and Tokyo, Zurich was the host city and thus the Swiss Competition Commission organised the event for the approximately 450 participants. Besides workshops and plenary sessions the guests enjoyed an evening on the lakeside, at the CityBeach as well as one on the mountain, the Uetliberg, both with wonderful modern Swiss culture acts.

The business & ICT networking platform X.DAYS, being organized by Group Worldspan since 2007, took place for the fifth time at the Casino Interlaken under the motto “The Magic of Technology”. Hosted by key partners EMC, Microsoft and Orange Business Services, the two-day industry event with 1.400 participants garnered quite a lot of interest. In addition to featuring renowned experts as keynote speakers, this year’s X.DAYS offered ICT workshops, a new business event series, technical discussions and a panel discussion.

From 1-5 October the yearly tradeshow Suisse Toy took place in the BEA halls Bern. With an unconventional Gotham City booth in the way of the brandnew LEGO Batman Game, X.BOX and Warnerbros lured e-game fans to their booth during the 5 days of the trade show. With over 62'000 visitors the trade show was a full success and the X.BOX booth were non stop buzzing with life while visitors were non-stop trying games. Besuchern war die Messe ein voller Erfolg und auch am X.BOX Stand wurden während der 5 Tage non stopp Games ausprobiert.
